Gorgeous food, beautiful setting, great service. Delicious Hake dish, friends enjoyed fish n chips and chicken sandwich; all portions were generous. Friend loved the Elbow IPA (local craft).

2025: Consistently superb true Cork restaurant with plenty of parking - a gem. This restaurant should be a must-see for all Cork visitors due to its beautiful surroundings, convenient access, superb food, exemplary staff, and varied menu with vegan, celiac, vegetarian, and carnivore selections. Dogs welcome at outside tables. Children treated well with activities provided and menu options. Perfect for meetings as well as parties or romantic dinners for 2. 2024: I hosted a ten person Women’s Little Christmas party at the Cafe. It. Was a delightful place to have it. Superb food, beautifully decorated, and the waitstaff could not have been more courteous or patient. We all changed places between dinner and dessert and waitstaff was very cooperative. Everything on the menu was a success for this diverse group including vegetarians.

Such a lovely cafe with a stunning view of Blackrock castle. The service was superb with a reasonable wait time between courses. We had Chicken liver pâté with plum chutney to start, followed by Hake fillet with potatoes, pesto and green beans and a spiced chicken thigh salad for mains. Dessert was brownie with honeycomb and salted caramel and dark chocolate cashew delice. If I could only use one word to describe the food here it would be delicious!!!

OMG, they hit everything on point. Service was perfect. We arrived early, with no problems we were at the outside tables being warmed by the sun, and cooled by the drinks. The food was delicious 😋. The staff were very friendly. Well to all.
